Precision Shunts
Ohm-Labs manufactures precision current shunts for measurement of current from <1 mA to 1000 A.
The low temperature coefficient of resistance, a result of Ohm-Labs' custom heat treatment, minimizes errors from self heating under power.
An internal bus structure minimizes connection errors common to many other shunts.
Shunts up to 300 A are of bifilar (folded) design for low inductance and close ac/dc conformance.
All Ohm-Labs' shunts include ISO17025 accredited calibration through full current range.
A temperature option includes an installed RTD and current / temperature characterization. Ohm-Labs can also supply a companion precision thermometer and accessory cables.
